Inspired by the simple forms of 50s and 60s architecture these beautiful wine glasses are shaped to allow maximum oxidation of red wine. The wider proportion in the middle of the glass tumbler allows for a greater surface area to expose the red wine, whilst at the same time reflecting the clean lines of modernist and brutalist architecture. These visually striking glasses are designed in England and handmade in the South-East of Poland, a region renowned for beautiful glassware. The Hex Wine Tumblers are made from thin soda-lime glass by expertly skilled glassblowers, due to the fact they are handblown tiny variations can occur between glasses. The tumblers are perfect for every occasion from general everyday use to fancier occasions around the table, they can also be used for water, soft drinks or spirits. The glasses are from London based contemporary glassware brand, HUTA. HUTA glassware ranges are created to three criteria. They must be beautiful, they must be functional and they really must not cost the earth. The glasses are sold in packs of four and can be put in a dishwasher although they will retain their shine and last longer if washed by hand in warm, soapy water using a non abrasive sponge.
