Leather Pixie Pouch - Eco Dark Brown

by O-my-bag

£48.00

The Pixie Pouches are simple and stylish leather purses. Inside there is a black and white striped cotton liner that has six card slots, two compartments for notes and receipts, as well as a separate zip compartment for change. There is also an additional compartment on the back of the wallet to ensure that you will definitely not be short of space! The leather is handmade by a fair trade organisation in India using eco-leather, which means it's not just good looking but great for the planet too! O My Bag was created by Paulien Wesselink in 2010. Paulien believes that everybody loves a great bag and great bags are hard to find. Since she had a hard time finding the right bag - basic, elegant and a little old school, she decided to make her own. THE DESIGNER

O-My-Bag was created by Paulien Wesselink in 2010. Paulien believes that everybody loves a great bag and great bags are hard to find. Since she had a hard time finding the right bag - basic, elegant and a little old school, she decided to make her own. Paulien travelled to India in Mid 2012 to find manufacturers, as leather is one of India’s biggest export products.

A large part of the collection is made with eco-friendly leather, meaning no harmful chemicals are used. Poverty rates in India are very high so providing work is hugely helpful. Paulien decided to only work with producers who are aligned to the World Fair Trade Organization and provide excellent conditions to their workers.
